Timings are sample values. Each line carries the one decision that shaped it, written the way it was written in the session notebook.

  1. Earth Lift

    Two oscillators through a diode ladder, no filter envelope. The movement is the tuning drifting under the room.

    Built on a mains hum recorded in [set your room] and tuned up to a note. The kick is the same recording, gated.

  3. Lift Off The Earth

    The same patch as the opener with the ground lifted, which is where the record got its name.

    One take, sequencer running free, hands on two attenuators. Nothing was quantised afterwards.

    Tape at 7.5 inches per second used as the low pass. The only piece on the record with no modular in it.

    Ends on the room recording that started the session, played back through the monitors and captured again.
