02 / Output stage
Hear it, on your terms
This page holds one player, and it has not contacted a streaming platform. Its feed slot takes a SoundCloud or a Spotify URL; the stage reads the address, shows which platform it is, and loads that platform's player only when you press play. The tracklist underneath is the readable version either way.

Ground Loop Sample Not connected
This player has no track URL yet, so pressing loads nothing.
A Spotify feed plays a 30-second preview on this stage unless you are signed in to Spotify Premium in this browser.

Every platform
The stage plays whichever platform its feed points at. Wherever you actually listen, the record lives on all of them.
03 / Tracklist
Six tracks, in order
Timings are sample values. Each line carries the one decision that shaped it, written the way it was written in the session notebook.
-
Earth Lift
Two oscillators through a diode ladder, no filter envelope. The movement is the tuning drifting under the room.
Sample
-
Hum at 50
Built on a mains hum recorded in [set your room] and tuned up to a note. The kick is the same recording, gated.
Sample
-
Lift Off The Earth
The same patch as the opener with the ground lifted, which is where the record got its name.
Sample
-
Star Point
One take, sequencer running free, hands on two attenuators. Nothing was quantised afterwards.
Sample
-
Shield
Tape at 7.5 inches per second used as the low pass. The only piece on the record with no modular in it.
Sample
-
Bond To Chassis
Ends on the room recording that started the session, played back through the monitors and captured again.
Sample
Total running time 35:24. Sample
